F.H.E with the Fiso's

David is at school Monday nights. Sometimes he gets off early and we can get a FHE treat as a family. We love the Waffle Luv truck and were very happy they came down to spanish Fork on a Monday night. We had a good lesson too :)

Our best FHE this month was our lesson on missionary work. Totally took the idea from my sis-in-law Lisa Smith (she's amazing). The boys loved making their missionary tags and coloring pictures for our favorite missionaries, Elder Daniel Fiso in Taiwan and Elder Isaiah Fiso in England. We also looked on Google Earth at where their uncles are right now and also where their dad, uncles and grandpas served. Kai loves looking at the world. TJ was excited to be using the iPad :) Kai even practiced his "door approach". I know they will be great missionaries for the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Silly boys (I had to join the fun).
Too cute to be a missionary now ;)
A scriptorian in training
My adorable missionaries!

FHE last week was not as successful. I was trying to teach the boys about obedience. Let's just say they were trying to teach me patience by doing the exact opposite of what I was teaching. It was rough but we did it!

This is pretty much how the night ended.

So I wanted to do better this week and I wanted it to be focused on an attribute of Christ. So FHE tonight was about being a good sport like Jesus (meek and mild). Kai loved learning a new song, "Jesus Once was a Little Child". It went well with Kai (TJ needs to be moving all the time so he was restless). After the lesson we playedDisney  Cranium so the boys could practice being kind and nice while playing a game. I emphasized the importance if being a good winner and a good loser. Kai struggles with losing. He hates it and throws huge fits. Not this time. He was great!!! Through the whole game he was giving TJ high gives for good moves and at the end of the game TJ won and Kai was happy for him and said "Good Game!" No fits! I was so proud! David came home at the end and was shocked. He asked me what I had done to our children. He also accused me I took "the Fiso" out of them. I responded that I was refining the Fiso within :)

The aftermath of the game. TJ said he was going to work. I want to ride a lion to work :)

I love my family!!!
