A Day in the Life of...

...Savai'i Fiso (the third child and third boy in the Fiso family). It all starts with waking mom up to eat. Then there's more sleep while mom showers. Usually Vai will wake up again before the other boys. This gives him some alone time with a rested, showered, happy mom.
Who can resist this face? Not this boy's mom. He is just too cute for words! Eventually, Kai and Tai will wake up and Vai will have to be laid down while I get them breakfast and make sure they're dressed, etc. Usually Vai will get some hugs, kisses, and just lots of attention from his brothers.
Vai will usually need to eat again while the boys watch some cartoons or play with their hot wheels. After this we will try to do some sort of activity together like a walk to the park or a trip to the library.
Sometimes mom will be brave and let one of the boys push the stroller.
While Kai and Tai play on the playground. Vai will hang out with the mom in the shade on a blanket.
Vai loves being outside and he is happy to just chill.
Inevitably he will have a brother or two come over to say hello.
"Really mom? Another picture?" Yes, I take quite a few pictures. I can't help myself. It's a good thing I live in an era of digital cameras or we would be spending a lot of money on film.
After the park its back home for lunch and a nap.
He loves to sleep with his arms free. He's getting good at unswaddling himself.
After lunch mom tries to have the older boys to a quiet activity like reading books or maybe they can play outside. Vai will want another feeding and then take another nap.
See what I mean? Vai is so chill! He just laid here on the ottoman for a half hour sleeping while I vacuumed the floor and did some dishes.
Later in the afternoon we will have another activity. Today we all went to visit Grandma and Grandpa Fiso.
Vai loves to pet Sammy. He likes to feel her fur and she's such a good dog!
Sometimes we get lucky and we get to say hi to our cousins! Clara loves to play with Vai but we can't let her get too close yet since she thinks playing means grabbing his face.
Snuggles with Grandma Fiso will get interrupted. Kai loves to tell his stories. While at grandmas Tai will sometimes have a potty accident and Kai will always eat too much candy. Eventually we will leave and go home. Sometimes we beat Daddy but today he got home first.
Vai and Dad are always happy to see each other. Today Vai was so happy to see his dad he promptly took a nap for him.
David left him upstairs in the company of Spider-Man and Pascal. Unfortunately, this nap was interrupted by two very loud brothers.
Or maybe it was all a plot to get mommy to come upstairs and hold him in the glider.
Well Mom can work her magic fast. After Vai finished his nap he woke up to be fed. After having his full we went downstairs where he was attacked with affection once again.
I'm so glad Kai and Tai love their little brother. They do tend to smother him at times so there needs to be a referee to save him from too many kisses. To save him this time mom took Vai to book club with her.
After some time hanging out with the ladies Vai was ready for bed. So mom nursed him and put him to bed. He was a swaddled at first but shortly managed to get his arms out.
This bedtime for Vai only lasted about 90 minutes and then he was ready for more food. Sometimes he gives his mom an easy night and sometimes he just wants to eat...and eat...and eat...and eat.
I forgot to mention all the diaper changes. So just imagine that after every feeding mentioned there's a diaper change. In summary, a day in the life of Savai'i is eat, sleep, and poop. And sometimes give them a heart melting smile.
